Kawaii Crush Webisodes

The original animated reveal.

I apologize in advance for how many times the word "webisode" is going to come up. In this entry I shall be reviewing the Kawaii Crush webisode series. In these reviews you can expect to find some pictures and a basic summary for each cartoon. A link will also be provided so that you may watch them for yourself, and if you would like a more in-depth guide, as well as more pictures you can also view my Kawaii Crush wikia page dedicated to each webisode:

Keep in mind that as I write this, there is only seven webisodes, with a few being released monthly. As a new one comes out I will make a little entry for it to alert the readers. My reviews for the webisodes on here are not to be "go to guides" for them, but the one's on my wiki are. Please keep that in mind while reading this, and please ask me before you use any of my pictures or information.

Webisodes can be found on the official Kawaii Crush website, as well as their youtube account:

Kawaii Crush Youtube Account

Each webisode is generally about the length of one minute and twenty/twenty-one seconds long and features the entire Kawaii Crush cast, generally ranging anywhere from two to four characters and their pets. They feature a pleasant mix of surprises, comedy, and Kawaii!

With that said, let's start it up!

1. Stop The Panda-monium!

One evening Amanda Panda Pop can't get to sleep and she realizes there's a band outside playing. Throughout the night she attempts getting them to stop and when she finally does get to sleep, she realizes it's day time!

In this webisode we are introduced to Amanda Panda Pop, Chilly Milly Yip Yip, Sunny Bunny Hop Hop, and Hannah Banana Nom Nom. As well as their four pets.

2. High Tweed Chase

In this chilly webisode, Tammy Lammy Lu Lu decides to sew something for the cold lamp post near her. Things turn chaotic when Katie Cat's kitty accidentally rolls the giant yarn ball all over town. But luckily Katie is able to get to the end of the yarn trail and grab her troublesome kitty, only to snag onto the yarn and fly the entire way back to the park!

Characters who appear in this webisode are Tammy Lammy Lu Lu, Katie Cat Meow Meow, Zoey Boey Fru Fru, Sunny Bunny Hop Hop, Amanda Panda Pop, and finally Hannah Banana Nom Nom. Katie Cat's cat also appears.

3. BFF At First Sight

Morning Glory Go Go loves the warm sunshine, and Luna Light Night Night loves the brilliant night skies. But seperately the girls realize just how lonely they are until one day when they finally meet each other and realize they were meant to be best friends!

Besides Luna and Morning Glory, Sunny Bunny Hop Hop is the only other character to appear.

As noticed by a few fans, Luna's last name is spelled as "Nite Nite".

4. All Blown Up

In this webisode, Zoey Boey Fru Fru is out shopping for the perfect pair of bow shaped glasses when she notices a lovely bow shaped balloon! The day gets even better after she spots a humongous pink bow on the top of a building and uses an air pump to make herself grow in order to grab it.

This webisode stars Jamie Framie, but also features Jamie Framie Pop, Katie Cat Meow Meow, and Hannah Banana Nom Nom.

5. Shoe Shop Showdown

Hannah Banana Nom Nom and Betty Teddy Zoom Zoom fight over the perfect pair of shoes! But in the end after one of them wins the beloved shoes, she realizes how sad the other girl feels and they decide to share them!

This webisode features Hannah Banana in her third major appearance, and it introduces both Betty Teddy Zoom Zoom and Holly Molly Shop Shop. This episode features plenty of cameos of other characters outfits!

Oh my! We managed to trick so many people into thinking we're new characters!
6. Cotton Candy Crush

After a busy day of shopping at the mall, Amanda Panda and Katie Cat come across Mandy Candy's brand new dandy cotton candy machine! It can make anything into a cotton candy flavor, but when too many things get sucked into the machine it goes haywire!

Amanda Panda Pop and Katie Cat Meow Meow make an appearance in this webisode along with their pets and Mandy Candy Dot Dot.

7. The Great Outdoors

After sitting around so long on a rainy day, Zoey, Katie, and Owleena quickly take advantage of the sunny weather by going camping!

Besides the trio mentioned above, Katie's cat makes an appearance, as well as Holly Molly Shop Shop.

And so that is it for now, I will be giving some ratings before I end this post however, so please keep on reading!

Length

Each webisode is only about one minute and twenty/twenty-one seconds in length. Some of this time is for the intro and ending video, meaning it would be down to probably one minute and five seconds, give or take. While this may still seem short, the webisodes sometimes feel longer then they actually are. The short length is also good if you were in a hurry and just wanted to catch up on a couple you may have missed.

Sounds

Noticeably, the characters in this series do not talk. They may make sounds for laughter or shock, but otherwise everyone remains mute. Now this is both good, and bad.

It is good in a sense that if they were to be given squeaky voices it may test some people's patience. But they could have also given them normal, non-fitting voices which may have made some people angry. So they went for a third option by making them voiceless, which means it's less money and time they would have to spend recording lines and hiring voice actors. However, the downside to a lack of voices is the fact that one may struggle to understand just what is going on. Now, normally this shouldn't be a problem, as the webisodes are very easy to follow, but that isn't saying everyone would understand everything going on.

Besides a lack of voice and the occasional noise, there is also a very upbeat and peppy rock beat usually featured during the webisodes at certain points that fits in with the series pretty well.

Frequency In Updates

As said around the top, the webisodes tend to update three/four times monthly on a week basis. One can find the newest on youtube somewhat weeks ahead of what they would find it on the official website. Which can easily be explained as websites being harder to update then a youtube account.

Kawaii Crush had begin to release websites a little while after another new series had released one or two of it's own. However, Kawaii Crush is ahead by about two or three now. That is why it has a perfect ranking. Because they update very quickly until the end of the month comes along, in which a week or two may go by before more start to show up.

Anyway since I can't think of anything else I will just end this blog now :3 I promise, a real view of a piece of merchandise shall be coming along later/tomorrow. It will be a Lalaloopsy!
